    HM King’s patronage of “Art for Peace” festival praised

    Bahrain :  Chairman of the National Council for Arts, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, expressed most sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for patronizing the “Art for Peace” festival. He commended the royal support to the art sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

    Shaikh Rashid affirmed that Bahrain will remain the cradle of authentic arts and creativity trends, pointing out the role of art in conveying the message of peace and coexistence. He praised the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the activities of the National Council for Arts.

    Shaikh Rashid asserted that the “Art for Peace” festival aims to use creativity to promote peace, by reaching all segments of the society. He said art is a tool for bringing people together, promoting noble feelings and building peace in its comprehensive sense.
