Manama : On the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, the National Days festival, which is organized by the Ministry of Information, will kick off at the Heritage Village, in Ras Hayan, tomorrow Friday.

The festival will be open to the public from 5 pm to 11 pm and will continue until December 19. It will feature a wide range of public functions and activities, including the folkloric bands and the popular suq.

Many public establishments are taking part in this year’s festival, including the education, health and tourism ministries, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA).

The Information Ministry’s festival, one of the distinguished functions to mark the National Days, provides the opportunity to enjoy a special atmosphere at the Heritage Village which has buildings and urban models that reflect various phases in Bahrain’s history.
