Manama : Under the patronage of Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and in the presence of Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Export Bahrain and Taha International Industrial Services have successfully concluded the “Export of Transformational Industries and Their Role in Promoting Global Environmental Sustainability” event.
The event, which took place at the Gulf Hotel, brought together over 150 attendees, including representatives from both the public and private sectors, and highlighted the aluminum manufacturing industries and the advanced technologies used in these sectors, prompted by the development of a sustainable hot dross processing technology by Taha International Industrial Services.
During the event, a partnership agreement was presented between the Bahrain-based company, Taha International Industrial Services, and its Indian counterpart, Runaya, which has been facilitated by Export Bahrain.
Ammar Awachi, Chief Executive Officer of Taha International Industrial Services, stressed the importance of this partnership, stating, “The hot dross processing units will provide groundbreaking sustainable aluminum solutions that will revolutionize the aluminum industry in India as a result of this cooperation.” He further added, “The development of zero-waste solutions for the aluminum industry in Bahrain promotes not only economic growth within the Kingdom but also supports worldwide efforts towards environmental sustainability through the export of these technologies.”
Furthermore, a panel discussion was held where key insights and various avenues of prospective ramifications were analyzed, including the significance of developing new patents in reducing waste and promoting green industry. Bahrain’s focus on research and technological innovation places the Kingdom at the forefront of developments in environmental sustainability.
The event exemplified Export Bahrain’s commitment to identifying pathways and prioritizing opportunities for critical collaboration between Bahrain-based enterprises and their international counterparts.
Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq, Chief Executive Officer of Export Bahrain, lauded the outstanding capabilities and talents available in Bahrain and reaffirmed Export Bahrain’s unique focus on augmenting technological advancements emanating from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
