MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa patronised the graduation ceremony of the 11th batch of AMA International School, and deputised Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, to attend it on his behalf.Philippines President’s Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Dr. Amabel Aguiluz, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Information and Follow-up at HRH Premier’s Court, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dossari, were present.The minister conveyed congratulations from HRH the Prime Minister to the graduates and their families, as well as his wishes of further success to them.Dr. Al-Nuaimi lauded the constant interest enjoyed by education in the kingdom, being the cornerstone of development and progress, citing Bahrain’s encouragement of investment in private education.
He stressed that education in the kingdom has made giant strides thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and support of the government, noting that the Ministry of Education has succeeded in improving its services in the public and private schools.Philippines President’s Special Envoy to GCC countries delivered a statement in which he extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for patronising the graduation ceremony.He praised the tremendous efforts exerted by AMA International School to improve the quality of the services delivered to students.Dr. Amabel Aguiluz highlighted the remarkable progress witnessed by the education sector in the kingdom thanks to the support enjoyed by private schools during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era, as well as due to the support of HRH the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.He also congratulated Bahrain on the centenary of formal education.A number of graduates also delivered statements in which they expressed their happiness at their graduation, praising HRH Premier’s patronage of their graduation ceremony, which, they said, reflects his interest in youth.Then, 150 graduates were presented with graduation certificates.
