Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Championship for private stables for 120 km will be held Saturday in the Bahrain International Endurance, as it was delayed due to heavy rain.
The championship will be held upon the directives of HM the King’s Personal Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), and under the patronage of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that HH Shaikh Khalid’s championship is important for private stables that are striving for improvement, which is reflected in Bahrain’s equestrian position globally.
HH Shaikh Nasser said that the private stable’s preparations confirm that the race will witness strong and exciting competition in all its stages.
He wished all participating jockeys and stables success.
