Manama : His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) directed the Supreme Organizing Committee to prepare for the fourth edition of the Khalid bin Hamad Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Competition.
The competition will be organized by the Bahrain Technical College “Bahrain Polytechnic” in cooperation with Microsoft.
His Highness said that holding the competition through Bahrain Polytechnic is an affirmation of the importance of education keeping pace with technical developments and capacity building, and based on what was established by the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to develop educational outcomes within the framework of the development process.
HH Shaikh Khalid pointed to the great role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in implementing these visions and HRH’s clear efforts to achieve a major leap in digital transformation in Bahrain.
The competition includes students from Bahrain, and GCC countries, to present their innovations to enrich the educational movement in the region.
