His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) has directed to allocate 3 cars as prizes for the audience of His Highness’s Showjumping Championship which will take place next Saturday at the Military Sports Federation premises in Al Rafah, in addition to BD10000 worth of cash prizes for the winners of top places.
Moreover, more gifts and prizes will be announced for the audience and participants in His Highness Endurance Cup, to be held on March 18, 2023.
Commenting on this, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the importance of providing continued support for equestrian sports in the Kingdom in order to translate the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support these historic sports and preserve their legacy and place in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser pointed out that allocating these prizes and gifts comes in light of the desire to empower the stables, riders and athletes and allow the equestrian sports in Bahrain to reach new heights of development.
Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser welcomed the riders participating in His Highness Showjumping Championship, expressing confidence in seeing the Kingdom’s showjumping sport making further progress.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser added that the Kingdom’s athletes managed to showcase great performances locally in the current showjumping season, as a result of which the previous rounds featured strong competitions.
For her part, Dana Al Wardi, member of the Showjumping Committee in BREEF, expressed her sincere thanks and great gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for His Highness’ great support for equestrian sports.
It’s worth noting that the His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Showjumping Championship will exhibit 6 contests. The mechanisms of the draws on the cars will be announced in the coming days.
