Manama : Bahrain News Agency (BNA) won the “Best Photography Award” in the seventh edition of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Photographer Yousif Tulefat from BNA took the photo of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Holiness Pope Francis during the latter’s visit to Bahrain in November 2022.
The photo, which documents a historical event, affirms the vision of coexistence and peace advocated by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
