    ‘Love the Philippines’ slogan mananatili – DOT

    Sa kabila ng mga pagbatikos sa ginawang promotional video, pananatilihin pa rin ng Department of Tou­rism (DOT) ang bagong slogan na ‘Love the Philippines’.

    Kinumpirma ito kahapon ni Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco sa isang ambush interview sa 2022 Philippine Tourism Satellite Accounts and Tourism Statistics Dissemination Forum, nang tanungin kung patuloy na gagamitin ng DOT ang tourism slogan na inilunsad lamang noong noong Hunyo 27.

    “I think that is evident,” maikling sagot niya sa press.

    Paulit-ulit ding binanggit ni Frasco ang ‘’Love the Philippines’’ sa kanyang talumpati, at ipinakita rin ang slogan logo sa entablado ng kaganapan.

    Ang DDB Philippines, ang ahensyang kinontrata para sa paglulunsad ng kampanya ay nagsabing mayroong isang “unfortunate oversight” hinggil sa pagsasama ng hindi orihinal na stock footage.
