Brasilia : President Jair Bolsonaro of the Federative Republic of Brazil received the Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Bader Abbas Al-Helaibi, who presented his credentials as Bahrain Ambassador to Brazil.
President Bolsonaro welcomed Ambassador Al-Helaibi, congratulating him on being the first ambassador of Bahrain to Brazil, affirming the support of the Brazilian government for him to carry out his duties to the fullest. He also expressed his feelings of respect to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The President also asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with his wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain of further development.
President Bolsonaro praised the course of relations between Bahrain and Brazil, which were established nearly half a century ago, adding that Bahrain is an example of peaceful coexistence where Muslims, Christians and Jews have coexisted in harmony and peace for many years. He also stressed that what has been accomplished in the areas of bilateral cooperation indicates the interest of the two countries to further advance bilateral relations in order to achieve the common interests of the two countries, wishing the Ambassador success in his diplomatic duties.
Ambassador Al-Helaibi conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Brazilian President, as well as their best wishes to the President of continued success, and of progress and prosperity to Brazil.
