Amin “Fierceness” Ayoub hasn’t been afraid to call out the top names in BRAVE Combat Federation’s Lightweight division. The French-Tunisian athlete made a statement in his promotional debut by submitting Djamil Chan and is ready for the biggest challenges in his division. And they don’t come bigger than Cleiton “Predator” Silva, the reigning world champion.
Ayoub has recently hinted he would love to challenge “Predator” for the title very soon, as he feels his resume matches up well with that of the champion. Amin has been a double-weight champion in his previous promotion and will look to get his first world title “as soon as possible”.
During his BRAVE CF IG Takeover Series, Ayoub revealed he keeps a photo of Cleiton on his refrigerator as motivation and claimed he was positive he would face off against the champion “soon”.
“Fierceness” has quickly developed into one of the most interesting MENA fighters in the world of mixed martial arts, blending quick stand-up with an amazing ground game, which was in full display in his first BRAVE CF victory. Back at BRAVE CF 31, in South Africa, Ayoub was able to distract Chan as his opponent landed a takedown, and quickly transitioned into a choke, locking up a guillotine, which made Djamil tap.
It was the first promotional win of the Bulgarian Top Team representative in only his first BRAVE CF outing. The victory over his Dutch counterpart meant Amin extended his winning streak to six bouts and his overall MMA record to 14 wins with only four losses.
