Bahrain :  The Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust has announced that applications for the eighth edition of its endowment scholarships are open from Sunday, 5 September 2021, to Thursday, 9 September 2021.

On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, highlighted the importance of investing in the Kingdom’s youth, as they play an integral part in the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by HM the King.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman commended the Kingdom’s educational development, which continues to receive the support of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman lauded the Kingdom’s efforts to ensure that education and academia continue to be prioritised and advanced, particularly in light of the unprecedented conditions imposed by the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman emphasised that the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust has been established to commemorate the late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, in line with the visions of HM the King to provide and expand higher education opportunities for Bahraini citizens.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman noted that the scholarships provided by the trust contribute to enabling Bahraini citizens to receive the qualifications needed in today’s labour market, benefiting the Kingdom’s community and development.

For her part, Dr Mona Al Belushi, the Secretary General of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, highlighted that applications will be open for high school graduates with a grade point average of 80% or more, to obtain scholarships to study a bachelor’s degree for the 2021-2022 academic year. Candidates must be Bahraini citizens, have graduated high school within the last two years and have been accepted to a university.
