Air Arabia has announced the resumption of direct flights between Sharjah and Baku starting 11th July, 2021. Customers can now book their direct flights between Sharjah and Baku by visiting Air Arabia’s website, by calling the call centre or through travel agencies, Emirates News Agency (WAM) said. Air Arabia has also introduced free COVID-19 insurance coverage, which is automatically included as part of the booking and no additional documents are required from passengers.

China has administered more than 1 billion Covid-19 vaccine doses, an astonishing milestone that comes as the country rolls out an unrivaled inoculation drive. Bahrain has recorded 88,440 violations of not wearing masks in public places, and 12056 awareness campaigns have been conducted until June 16. A total of 10,360 procedures have been taken to ensure social distancing. Bahrain has approved “REGN-COV2” for emergency use, a new drug by Regeneron in collaboration with F. Hoffmann-La Roche, for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 cases. REGN-COV2 contains a combination of Casirivimab and Imdevimab, which are drugs called “monoclonal antibodies”, that are designed to block viral attachment and entry into human cells to neutralise the virus.
