A woman was stung by a scorpion on an Air India flight in an “extremely rare and unfortunate incident”, the airline said. The Indian woman was travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai on April 23. She was seen by a doctor at Mumbai airport soon after the plane landed and rushed to the hospital. She was later discharged. India : A double-decker boat carrying more than 40 passengers capsized off a beach in India’s Kerala state on Sunday night, killing at least 22 people. The incident took place at around 7pm near Thooval Theeram beach in the Tanur area of Malappuram. The boat was carrying more than 40 people, more than double its capacity, police said. Manama : The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted two joint inspection campaigns in the Northern Governorate and the Southern Governorate on a number of shops and work sites. Manama : 13,000 students across Bahrain’s 41 secondary school took the second mock International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam, aimed at determining their level in English.
