Manama: The Police Media Centre at the Interior Ministry has, over the past days, noticed some inciting news reports broadcast by the Qatari government-sponsored Al Jazeera Channel. New York: Media stories on the early days of the Biden administration focused more on policy than personality, a marked contrast to the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidency, a study released Wednesday found. Nearly two-thirds of Biden stories during his first two months in office were on his policy agenda and ideology, and 35% about his character and leadership style, the Pew Research Center found, The Associated Press reports. For Trump, three-quarters of the early stories were about his character and leadership, Pew said. Britain has no surplus of COVID-19 vaccines to give to India as it faces a deadly wave of coronavirus that puts intense pressure on hospitals, health minister Matt Hancock said on Wednesday. Britain has given ventilators and oxygen concentrators to India, but Hancock said Britain was currently not in a position to give any vaccines. “We don’t have any excess doses of vaccine in the UK at the moment,” Hancock said at a news conference.
