New Delhi : Eleven people, including five women and two children, were killed and another was seriously injured in a road accident in India’s central state of Chhattisgarh, a local police official said. Eleven people died and one child was seriously injured after a truck and a car collided near Jagatra area in Balod district, Balod Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav told. The road crash occurred when the victims traveling in the car were returning home after attending a wedding in the neighboring district. Manama : Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today received the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan, in the presence of Economic Development Board (EDB) Chief Executive Khalid Humaidan. COLUMBUS : Google plans to build two more data centers in Ohio to help power its artificial intelligence technology and other tools, the company and state officials announced Wednesday. With one data center already up and running near Columbus, the two new locations will bring Google’s total investment in Ohio to more than $2 billion, officials said. WASHINGTON : The U.S. approved the first vaccine for RSV on Wednesday, shots to protect older adults against a respiratory virus that’s most notorious for attacking babies but endangers their grandparents, too.
