Abu Dhabi has updated guidelines for entering the emirate, Abu Dhabi media tweeted late on Saturday. “Addressing the community’s needs, guidelines for entry to #AbuDhabi have been updated to enable those leaving to take a test in the emirate before departing and present this result on return, provided this result is within 48 hours of receipt,” Abu Dhabi Media tweeted. https://twitter.com/admediaoffice/status/1279486728710041620?s=20 The move is to part of efforts to tackle the spread of COVID-19.

Bahrain has announced the death of a 64-year-old female citizen from coronavirus. So far the total has reached up to 96. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. The total cases have driven to 28,410 of which 23,318 have recovered, which means that over 82 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 4,996 active cases. Also, there are 58 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 47 are in a critical condition. So far the country has conducted 584,070 tests, as per the government statics.

World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday accepted the recommendation from the Solidarity Trial’s International Steering Committee to discontinue the trial’s hydroxychloroquine and lopinavir/ritonavir arms. A man has died after being attacked by a shark off the east coast of Australia, officials say. The 36-year-old was bitten on the leg while spearfishing in waters near Queensland’s Fraser Island, north of Brisbane, police said on Saturday.
