Global cases of the novel coronavirus surpassed 9 million on Monday, as Brazil and India grappled with a surge in infections, and the United States, China and other hard-hit countries reported new outbreaks, according to a Reuters tally. Delta Air Lines Inc said on Monday it would resume flights between Seattle and Shanghai on June 25, making it the first U.S. airline to restart operations between the United States and China after flights were suspended in February due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Saudi Arabia has reported 3,393 new cases and 40 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 161,005. The death toll raised to 1,307 after reporting the new deaths.
