A knife attack in Reading that killed three has been declared a terror incident. Yesterday evening, at least six people were stabbed in Forbury Gardens by a lone attacker. A hero police officer tackled a suspect to the ground and placed him under arrest. Sources said the suspect, who is being held in police custody, is a Libyan national in his twenties. Armed police could be seen searching a block of flats in the town late last night. Oman has registered 3 deaths and 905 daily cases of coronavirus, most of the new cases are from foreigners by 503 and the rest 402 from citizens, taking the total cases to 29,471. The death toll reached 131 after reporting the new deaths. Meanwhile, 772 new recoveries were announced, bringing the total to 15,552. 2,804 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, across the sultanate. The decrease in traffic accidents contributed to the availability of intensive care rooms for patients. Bahrain has announced the death of a 52-year-old male expatriate from coronavirus. The total deaths have soared to 61. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. The total cases have driven to 21,331 of which 15,790 have recovered, which means that over 74 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,480 active cases.
