Bahrain has announced the death of an 83-year-old male citizen from coronavirus. The total deaths have soared to 53. It’s the fourth death in one day. The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. The total cases have driven to 19,961 of which 14,185 have recovered, which means that over 71 percent of the confirmed cases have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are 5,723 active cases. Saudi Arabia has reported 4,757 new cases and 48 deaths from coronavirus, taking the total cases to 145,991. The death toll raised to 1,139 after reporting the new deaths. Meanwhile, 2,253 patients fully recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 93,915. Emirates today announced it will offer scheduled flights for travellers in 10 more cities: Colombo (from 20 June), Sialkot (24 June), Istanbul (from 25 June); Auckland, Beirut, Brussels, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (all from 1 July); and Barcelona and Washington DC (all from 15 July). The High Criminal Court has sentenced three Iran-owned Future Bank officials to five years in prison and to fines of BD1 million each in each of the ten cases brought against them on charges of money laundering, funding terrorism and violating banking regulations in Bahrain.
