The MOH expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. Oman has registered 3 deaths and 739 daily cases of coronavirus, most of the new cases are from foreigners by 437 and the rest 302 from citizens, taking the total cases to 26,818. The death toll reached 119 after reporting the new death. The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday that testing of the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine in its large multi-country trial of treatments for COVID-19 patients had been halted after new data and studies showed no benefit.
