The arrest of eight Asians involved in various alcohol-selling cases was announced by the Director-General of Capital Governorate Police on Wednesday. He said that investigation into the case led to identifying and arresting the suspects and related items were confiscated. Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution. Bahrain has reported 468 new cases of coronavirus, among 273 expatriate workers, 176 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 19 are travel related, after conducting 7,776 additional COVID-19 tests. India’s fuel demand nearly doubled in May from the previous month as the country eased coronavirus-led restrictions, Oil Ministry data showed on Wednesday, signalling a slow revival of economic activity. UAE has announced 603 cases, and 1 fatality from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the total cases in the country to 40,507, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). The Laboratory tests conducted every day have revealed a rise in the number of contacts of active cases in Bahrain. “The R-naught (RO) has shown the average number of people who are likely to get the virus from an active case.
