The Kuwait Health Ministry announced the recovery of 162 people from the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Wednesday. This takes the recovery tally to 3,263. A ministry press statement said analyses and medical examinations and tests proved that these cases were cured of the coronavirus. The recovered will be transferred to the hospital recuperation ward, pending their discharge within the next few days, it noted. The UAE has strongly condemned the terror attack that targeted a hospital in the Afghan capital Kabul and another that targeted a funeral, resulting in numerous deaths and injuries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed in a statement its utter denunciation of these criminal acts and rejection of all forms of violence, which aim to undermine security and stability and contravene all religious and human values and principles. The Oman Ministry of Health announced 298 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, in which 89 of the new cases are Omanis and the other 209 are in non-Omanis, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4,019. So far, 17 people have died of the virus and 1,289 others have recovered in the country. The government has since imposed strict measures to prevent the virus from spreading further. Employers in the UAE should pay salaries on time through the wage protection system, the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE) has stressed. Making the announcement in a tweet, MoHRE called on companies to also document early leaves granted to employees as well as temporary or permanent salary amendments. 31 members of the same family have been infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) due to the negligence of health guidelines, according to the Ministry of Health. The Ministry noted that some of the members of the Bahraini family had not complied with the precautionary measures and social distancing guidelines issued, even after experiencing symptoms, resulting in the transmission of the virus to a total of 31 individuals.
