Doha: Marking the historic achievement of Bahrain National Team, which won the 24th Gulf Football Cup. Bahrain won for the first time the Gulf Cup of Nations final after defeating Saudi Arabia 1-0. The 2019-2020 endurance season will open on Saturday under the patronage of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Charity Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman. An international race covering 80km and 120km will be held at Bahrain International Endurance. Inculcating love for green environment the Indian School Bahrain (ISB) Nature Club has started a plantation drive in the Isa Town campus on Friday. Enthusiastic students and teachers participated in the plantation drive under the guidance of teachers. The ISB nature club was established in 2015 with the aim of creating awareness among students regarding the protection of nature and inculcating love for eco-friendly campus.
