India’s twin World Cup-winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who memorably hit England bowler Stuart Broad for six 6s in an over during the World T20 exactly 12 years ago, shared a childhood photo of him with a bat to mark the occasion. In the photo, Yuvraj can be seen trying to hit a ball with his tiny bat indoors. Referring to the image, Yuvraj wrote on Facebook that he never thought that he will ever hit 6 maximums in a row while adding cheekily that maybe it was due to him having started practicing early. The left-hander aptly captioned the picture:…

We are all aware of the catastrophic asteroid impact off Mexico’s coast that doomed the dinosaur dynasty 66 million years ago. This earth-shaking astronomical event forever changed the history of life on Earth. So did the ice age that occurred 400 million years ago when a gigantic collision in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter opened new avenues for marine biodiversity on our home planet. But these are not the only extra-terrestrial events that may have affected the evolution of life on Earth. Scientists have offered valuable insight about an event that set in rolling, the most significant evolutionary…
