A 74-year-old woman on Thursday set a world record by delivering twins at a hospital in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur town. Mangayamma, who conceived through the In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) process, delivered twin girls at the Ahalya Nursing Home in Guntur. A team comprising four doctors performed the cesarean operation. Dr. Sanakkayala Umashankar, who headed the team of doctors, said both the mother and the babies were doing well.
