Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today signed a sponsorship agreement with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications’ Civil Aviation Affairs entitling the airline to become again the official carrier of the Bahrain International Airshow in its 6th and 7th editions in 2020 and 2022. Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the 16th session of the Senior Officials Meeting of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum, held today in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Manama: The General Directorate of Civil Defence has participated as a strategic partner in the fifth Bahrain Health, Safety and Environment Forum 2019, through presenting lectures on dealing with dangerous substances, rescue and evacuations and high-rise buildings-related accidents. The department was also involved in an evacuation exercise in the side-line of the event. The Director-General of the Civil Defence highlighted the importance to participate in such an event to meet the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to promote security and safety standards.
