Bahrain : Education Minister, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, has announced that new courses will be introduced at the Religious and Jaafari Institutes, which will pave the way for students who graduate from them to join many disciplines. The minister stressed that the development plan in the two institutes is within the framework of the efforts made by the Education Ministry to develop curricula at all educational levels, to enhance the educational and skill levels, and meet the requirements of the 21st century in this field.

One person was killed on Monday when a van taking children to school was attacked in Swat Valley, Pakistan, the day after the area marked 10 years since education activist Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban. Police said the driver was the target. Bahrain : Justice and Islamic Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Judge Isa Sami Al-Mannae, has announced that the supervisory committees’ decisions regarding the nominee lists may be challenged before the Civil Higher Court of Appeals.
