LAS VEGAS : Seven people were shot, one fatally, at a Las Vegas apartment complex and two of the people who were wounded suffered injuries described as critical, police said Friday. The events leading up to the shooting started with a neighbor dispute at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, said police Lt. Jason Johansson. The Enforcement Directorate has arrested the promoter of Chennai-based Coastal Energy Private Limited, Ahmed AR Buhari, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), officials said. The case involves the overvaluation of coal prices, in which public sector undertakings (PSUs) paid a higher price for the purchase of coal. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who is in the Romanian capital Bucharest to facilitate the evacuation of Indians stranded in Ukraine, said roughly 1,500 citizens are left in Ukraine and talks are on with Russian authorities to facilitate their safe passage.
