Bahrain :  The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has approved the emergency use of the VLA2001 COVID-19 vaccine produced by the European vaccine company, Valneva. The vaccine has been approved for ages 18 years and above, making it the seventh vaccine to be authorized for emergency use in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of Bahrain’s efforts to combat the COVID-19. Ukraine : Hundreds of foreign students holed up in basements to escape intense shelling in Kharkiv fear they will not get out alive. One Indian student was killed by shelling in the city, Ukraine’s second-largest. Thousands of others from India, Morocco, Egypt and Turkmenistan are trying to reach safety as Ukraine’s military battles to defend the city from a Russian invasion. Russia: A top aide for Russian President Vladimir Putin says Ukrainians are on their way to Belarus for talks that have been scheduled for Thursday. “As far as I know, the Ukrainian delegation has already departed from Kyiv, is en route … We’re expecting them tomorrow,” Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Russian delegation, told  Wednesday evening.
