TOKYO : Toyota is suspending production at all 28 lines of its 14 plants in Japan starting Tuesday, because of a “system malfunction” that a domestic supplier suspects is a cyberattack. Kojima Industries Corp., based in Toyota city in central Japan, said Monday the problem could be a cyberattack as an error was detected in its computer server system. As a result, the company said its system could not communicate properly with Toyota or monitor production, although there was nothing physically wrong with the production equipment. Berlin : Henrik Kristoffersen completed a turnaround of his World Cup slalom season Sunday with his second win in two days. Bahrain : The second International Conference will be held on March 24-26 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel. Forty-four speakers from overseas countries will take part in the three-day forum, which will be organised by the Arabian Gulf University. Washington : The Biden Administration will ask Congress for $6.4 billion dollars in economic and military aid to help Ukraine as it fights the Russian invasion, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Sunday. Schumer said the request would be added to a spending bill expected to reach the Senate floor next week.

Moscow: Russia’s state communications regulator on Sunday said it had written to Alphabet Inc’s Google and demanded that access to Russian media’s YouTube channels be restored on Ukrainian territory. The regulator, Roskomnadzor, said it wanted all restrictions imposed on the Russian-language YouTube channels of media outlets RBC, TV Zvezda and Sputnik to be removed.
