Bahrain : Shahul Hameed Khadar have got his long awaiting jail release after almost 2 decades. Mr. Shahul Hameed, an Indian Citizen was arrested at Bahrain Airport (when he was on his transit to KSA) on the charges of carrying illicit drugs. Bahrain :  Passengers travelling via King Fahd Causeway were urged to comply with mandatory precautionary measures set by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19. Travellers have to provide a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)  and evidence of their vaccination as required, said the Causeway Police Directorate at the General Directorate for Border Exit Security. The Directorate urged everyone to abide by the law and to submit a valid PCR,  noting that any fraud in this regard is considered a crime punishable by the law. Abu Dhabi :  A rare, two-volume Quran owned by U.S. President Thomas Jefferson found itself carefully packed away Wednesday for a return flight to America after being on display at Dubai’s Expo 2020. The Quran, along with an insert map of Arabia, had been in a climate-controlled display at the U.S. pavilion at the Expo. Geneva :   The World Health Organization says coronavirus case counts fell 17% worldwide over the last week compared to the previous week, including a 50% drop in the United States, while deaths globally declined 7%.
