Mr. Shahul Hameed, an Indian Citizen was arrested at Bahrain Airport (when he was on his transit to KSA) on the charges of carrying illicit drugs. Bahrain :  Passengers travelling via King Fahd Causeway were urged to comply with mandatory precautionary measures set by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19. Travellers have to provide a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)  and evidence of their vaccination as required, said the Causeway Police Directorate at the General Directorate for Border Exit Security. Abu Dhabi :  A rare, two-volume Quran owned by U.S. President Thomas Jefferson found itself carefully packed away Wednesday for a return flight to America after being on display at Dubai’s Expo 2020. The Quran, along with an insert map of Arabia, had been in a climate-controlled display at the U.S. pavilion at the Expo. Geneva :   The World Health Organization says coronavirus case counts fell 17% worldwide over the last week compared to the previous week, including a 50% drop in the United States, while deaths globally declined 7%.
