India : The singer known as Melody Queen of India ,  has been given the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour,  Padma Bhushan, the Padma Vibhushan and the Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee Latha Mangeskar passed away on 6th Feb at 8.12am  at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. Her body will be taken to Shivaji Park for people to pay homage. The 92-year-old singer was put on the ventilator on Saturday after her health deteriorated. New York : Amazon reported Thursday that its profits nearly doubled in the final three months of last year, even as it contended with surging costs tied to a snarled supply chain and labor shortages.
