India : The singer known as Melody Queen of India , has been given the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan, the Padma Vibhushan and the Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee Latha Mangeskar passed away on 6th Feb at 8.12am at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. New York : Amazon reported Thursday that its profits nearly doubled in the final three months of last year, even as it contended with surging costs tied to a snarled supply chain and labor shortages.
