Riyadh : A total of 44 multinational companies (MNCs) today received licenses to move their regional headquarters to Riyadh. The licenses were issued at the fifth edition of the Future Investment Initiative, attended by the world’s most influential leaders in business and government. Among the companies are prestigious multinationals in diverse sectors including technology, F&B, consulting and construction. Pakistan : Three Pakistani policemen were shot dead and 70 more wounded when supporters of a banned extremist group opened fire at a rally on Wednesday, the country’s interior minister said. Lisbon : President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa has highlighted Bahrain’s experience in investing in culture. Johannesburg :  Moderna said on Tuesday it will supply the African Union (AU) with up to 110 million doses of its coronavirus vaccine, with the first 15 million expected to be delivered by the end of the year. The doses were “offered at Moderna’s lowest tiered price, in line with its global access commitments,” the US company said in a statement.
