Rome : New measures against Covid-19 will come into force in Italy on Friday, where every employee now must have a so-called “green pass,” showing proof of vaccination, recovery from or a negative test for Covid-19. The new measures, which affect some 23 million employees in the private or public sector across Italy, are controversial and have been met with some resistance, said dpa international. Leigh-On-Sea, England : A British lawmaker was stabbed to death on Friday in a church by a man who lunged at him at a meeting with voters from his electoral district, knifing him repeatedly. Russia: The Government of the Russian Federation has decided to allow the citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain to obtain electronic visas to enter the Russian territory, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, has revealed. Taipei The death toll from a fire in southern Taiwan that engulfed a building overnight has further risen to 46, according to officials Thursday who said at least another 41 people were injured. The 13-story building caught fire around 3 a.m. Thursday, fire officials in the city of Kaohsiung said. A fire department statement said the blaze was “extremely fierce” and destroyed many floors.
