Bahrain : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree 100/2021, organising the Oil Ministry, as follows: The Minister of Oil shall be responsible for: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, who shall oversee: –  The Directorate of Human and Financial Resources. –  The Directorate of International Relations and Cooperation. –  The Directorate of Control and Licensing –  The Directorate of Policies and Strategic Planning The Minister of Oil shall implement the provisions of this decree, which comes into force immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Jordan : Jordan’s Crown Prince  Hs Royal Highness   Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday evening, after undergoing the routine examination implemented as part of the regulations followed at the Royal Hashemite Court, the Royal Court said in a statement. Bahrain :  Pfizer has started testing its potential COVID-19 treatment as a preventive medicine aimed at warding off the virus if a close contact gets it, reports AP. The drug maker said Monday that it will study the pill it is developing in combination with a low dose of the HIV drug ritonavir in people who are at least 18 years old and live in the same household with someone who is infected. Bahrain : A number of illegal expatriate workers are to be deported in compliance with the law, said the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA). The violators were arrested during a clampdown conducted in the Northern Governorate by LMRA Labour Inspection Directorate in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Police Directorate of Northern Governorate.
