Bahrain : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting, at Gudaibiya Palace. The Cabinet expressed its gratitude and appreciation to citizens and residents for the excellent uptake of the COVID-19 booster shots. Puerto Vallarta : Nora, which has now weakened to a tropical storm, killed one boy over the weekend after torrential rains and heavy winds caused a building in the popular resort town Puerto Vallarta to partially collapse. California : Alphabet Inc’s Google generated $11.2 billion in revenue from its mobile app store in 2019, according to a court filing unsealed on Saturday, offering a clear view into the service’s financial results for the first time. London : Jacques Rogge, who oversaw an era of political and financial stability in the Olympic movement and pursued a hard line against doping during his 12 years as IOC president, has died, the Olympic organization said Sunday.
