Bahrain : Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) opened the door for relatives of  BDF and National Guard affiliates and retirees (military and civilian) to enrol in the Reserve Army (second batch). In a statement issued today, the General Command urged applicants to register via link https://www.bdf.bh, which is available on the BDF website, using the special e-form Eligible applicants have to be Bahraini nationals, aged 18 to 55, but the  the upper age limit does not apply to technicians, specialists or other  duty requirements. Washington : The United States on Monday imposed sanctions on an Eritrean official it accused of being engaged in serious human rights abuse in the conflict in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, where thousands have been killed and over 2 million displaced. The US Treasury Department in a statement said it blacklisted Filipos Woldeyohannes, the chief of staff of the Eritrean Defense Forces (EDF). The bills, carrying a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
