Injured Army veteran Ben Parkinson and his family say Taliban advances in Afghanistan have left people asking “what it was all for”. China’s securities regulators punished 19 institutional investors as authorities tighten scrutiny over price-setting behaviour. China launched the tech-focused STAR Market in Shanghai in mid-2019, and  introduction of a U.S.-style, registration-based initial public offering (IPO) system in that market. The Securities Association of China (SAC) said late on Friday that a joint probe recently with the Shanghai Stock Exchange over STAR IPOs had exposed issues with 19 institutional investors. Bad Nauheim : The small picturesque German town of Bad Nauheim has unveiled a bronze statue commemorating one of its most famous residents – Elvis Presley, said dpa international. The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll lived in Bad Nauheim while he was stationed as a US soldier in neighbouring Friedberg from October 1958 to March 1960. New Delhi: IndiGo will start daily flights connecting Gwalior with Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi starting September 1, Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Friday. “IndiGo will start daily flights from Madhya Pradesh from September 1: Delhi-Gwalior-Delhi; Gwalior-Indore-Gwalior; Indore-Gwalior-Indore; Gwalior-Delhi-Gwalior,” he said on Twitter. Mr Scindia had on Thursday flagged off IndiGo’s Bareilly-Mumbai flight that would operate under regional connectivity scheme UDAN. “Under the guidance of our visionary Prime Minister, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is determined to facilitate the movement of citizens across the country and give wings to their development,” the minister tweeted on Friday.

US : American video game company Rockstar Games’ Dundee studio is currently working on remastered versions of its three classic PS2-era Grand Theft Auto titles. According to the Verge, the titles which are being remastered, include, which include Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. A late October or early November release is said to be tentatively planned for the titles, which could eventually be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, PC, Stadia, and mobile phones.
