Berlin: Germany aims to make its contribution to upholding international law and boosting security in the Indo-Pacific region, Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Monday as a German frigate sailed for the region. Los Angeles: TikTok star Anthony Barajas has died after being shot at a California movie theater in what authorities described as a “random and unprovoked” attack. Barajas, 19, died Saturday after the shooting that also killed his 18-year-old friend Rylee Goodrich, said police in Corona in southern California said. Italy : Italy reported five coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday, down from 16 the day before, the health ministry said, and the daily tally of new infections fell to 5,321 from 6,513. Italy has registered 128,068 deaths linked to COVID-19 since its outbreak emerged in February last year, the second-highest toll in Europe after Britain and the eighth-highest in the world.
