Bahrain : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended the condolences of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the government and people of the Republic of Turkey over the victims of the wildfires raging across different parts of Turkey, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the Kingdom’s sympathy with the Republic of Turkey in this tragedy and its support for the efforts exerted to reduce loss of life and property. The Ministry wished mercy for those who died and a speedy recovery to those injured.

US: Amazon (AMZN) faces a record-breaking €746 million (roughly $887 million) fine after a European Union data privacy regulator said the e-commerce giant had violated the bloc’s signature privacy law, known as GDPR, in an advertising-related decision. The fine was imposed on July 16 and disclosed Friday in a financial filing. It is the largest in the law’s three-year history, followed by Google’s 2019 fine of €50 million. Regulators said Amazon’s processing of personal data didn’t comply with GDPR requirements, and the company acknowledged it has been ordered to change its business practices. Australia : Millions more Australians are now in lockdown as the highly contagious Delta variant continues to spread. Authorities have imposed a snap three-day lockdown in south-eastern parts of Queensland, including Australia’s third largest city Brisbane, which began at 16:00 (06:00 GMT) on Saturday. Online reporting mechanism service for ‘mutually resolved minor accidents’ launched via eTraffic App
Bahrain : New services have been launched via the eTraffic app to simplify the reporting of minor traffic accidents, the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced. The services, covering accidents between two or more parties, allow for traffic procedures to be directly handled by insurance companies.
