Tokyo : The United States won the first ever gold medal in women’s 3×3 basketball after defeating the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) 18-15 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Americans lost just one game en route to the Olympic title. Team USA claimed their 11th gold medal of the Summer Games and the nation’s 31st medal overall. Alphabet Inc.’s Google postponed its date for bringing employees back to its offices by a month, and will require returning workers to be vaccinated, Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai wrote on Wednesday. The internet search giant will now ask most of its staff to return to campuses starting October 18th. Previously, the Mountain View, California-based company had set September for the return. Bosnia : Bosnian Serbs have reacted furiously to a ban on genocide denial imposed by the international official overseeing Bosnia’s 1995 peace deal.
