Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, today announced a record sell-out crowd for the final day of the 2023 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Muharraq : Almost seven million passengers passed through Bahrain International Airport (BIA) in 2022, a meeting by Bahrain Airport Company’s (BAC) Airport Facilitation Committee heard. BIA welcomed 6.9 million passengers, a 127.5% jump from three million in 2021, and only 29% less than pre-pandemic figures of 9.6 million in 2019. The committee, which convened for its sixth meeting, is tasked with reviewing the operational facilitation of passengers, crew, and baggage at BIA.
