Four people died and 42 were injured when a bus carrying 53 passengers to a holiday resort in Oman veered off the road into the side of a mountain on Friday. State broadcaster Oman TV showed footage on Saturday morning of medical personnel moving the injured from the overturned bus and retrieving bodies. Antakya : More than 45,000 people have been killed in the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, and the toll is expected to soar with some 264,000 apartments in Turkey destroyed and many still missing in the country’s worst modern disaster. Manama : The Cybercrime Prosecution has completed its investigations on remarks and recordings posted on social media that infringe on the foundations of the Islamic religion and defame prophets. Saudi Arabia : Algerian security forces arrested a person suspected of threatening to bomb Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Algiers. Saudi Arabia’s embassy said it had received a phone call on Wednesday evening from a person who directly threatened to blow up its headquarters. The embassy then notified Algerian authorities who were able to identify and arrest the suspect.

Turkey : Two men and a 14-year-old boy were rescued after 10 days beneath the rubble in Turkey, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca tweeted. The teenager Osman was pulled out at the “260th hour after intense efforts”, Mr Koca wrote, posting a photo of the boy with his eyes open on a stretcher wearing what appeared to be an oxygen mask and surrounded by medical crew.
