Saudi Arabia has expanded its Nusuk programme for Hajj pilgrims to more countries around the world. Nusuk is a unified government portal that helps pilgrims to apply and pay online for electronic visas, book flights and pay for accommodation and transport. The move will benefit pilgrims from Europe, the US, Australia and more than 58 countries. “The move would also raise the quality of the services provided to them to enrich their religious and cultural experience, while also achieving the objectives of the kingdom’s Vision 2030 programmes,” the Saudi Press Agency quoted the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as saying
Manama : The Royal Guard’s search and rescue taskforce arrived early today morning at Gaziantep Airport, in the southeastern region of Turkey, to participate in the humanitarian relief mission and start “Sawaed Al-Ghaith” operation. India has discovered 5.9 million tonnes of lithium reserves in the Himalayan Jammu and Kashmir region, the first time significant deposits of the metal have been detected in the country. The Ministry of Mines said that the metal was found in Reasi district of the union territory. A small reserve was discovered in the southern state of Karnataka in 2021. Spain on Friday said it would offer citizenship to more than 200 political prisoners released by Nicaragua and deported to the US. Nearly all the 222 Nicaraguan political prisoners are prominent government critics jailed in President Daniel Ortega’s crackdown on dissent over recent years.
