Manama : The Information &eGovernment Authority (iGA) released its foreign trade report of Fourth quarter 2022, containing data on the balance of trade, imports, exports (national origin) and re-exports. The value of imports increased by 0.3%, reaching to BD1.410 billion during Fourth quarter 2022 compared to BD1.406 billion for the same quarter of the previous year. The top 10 countries accounted for 69% of the value of imports, while the remaining countries accounting for 31%. BEIRUT : A building collapsed in a neighborhood in Syria’s northern city of Aleppo early Sunday, killing at least 16 people, including one child, and injuring four others, state media reported. The five-story building housing about 30 people is in the Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood under the control of the U.S.-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces. It collapsed overnight, according to the report, after water leakages weakened the structure’s foundation.
