Manama :  AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) announced the opening of registration for its Rayaat Scholarship Program for 2023/2024. Registration will start from January 29 to February 8. The scholarships will include His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships, Her Highness Shaikha Moza Bint Hamad Al Khalifa Medical Scholarship in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RSCI), and two scholarships with the University of Technology Bahrain. Manama : The National Cybersecurity Centre has launched awareness and training campaigns to enhance the cybersecurity awareness of individuals and organisations. The campaigns aim to achieve high protection levels of systems and information. In addition, a series of training and awareness workshops were held to highlight some cybersecurity terms and information, along with cyber risks. The campaigns include field events for NGOs, public and government sectors and small and medium enterprises. The centre affirmed that the campaigns are part of the dedication to enhance awareness and the best practices to deal with security threats.

Manama :  Bahrain enjoys a cost advantage of up to 27% in terms of annual operating costs for financial services institutions when compared to its GCC peers, according to KPMG’s “Cost of Doing Business in the GCC” report. The 2022 report measures the direct and indirect annual costs associated with operating a financial services institution in selected GCC regions: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. Manama : Gulf Air announced some of its favorite beach destinations for the 2023 summer. The airline added the new route of Goa to its expanding network, which increases the number of Indian destinations on the airline’s network to nine.
