    Bahrain Ambassador in Brussels meets Vice-President of European Parliament Human Rights Committee

    Brussels: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, met with Member of the European Parliament, Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee on Human Rights in the European Parliament, member of the Renew Europe Group, Bernard Guetta, at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.

    The Ambassador praised growing relations between Bahrain and the European Union in many fields, including the exchange of visits and experiences in the parliamentary and legislative fields. He recalled the visit of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives to Brussels and her fruitful meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament.

    He also reviewed the democratic process in Bahrain, highlighting the upcoming parliamentary and municipal elections, and legislative and human rights developments that promote the development of civil, political and economic rights in the Kingdom.

    The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
