    Coronavirus: Bahrain announces 30th death

    Bahrain has announced the death of a 72-year-old female Bahraini citizen, a registered active case of coronavirus, taking the country’s total deaths to 30.

    The patient was suffering from underlying and chronic health problems. The country has been reporting more deaths in recent days.

    The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time.

    The total cases in the country had reached 16,200 of which 11,109 have recovered making over 68 percent of the confirmed cases to recover from the virus. Currently, there are 5,061 active cases.

    Also, there are 79 COVID-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 14 are in a critical condition.

    So far the country has conducted 386,134 tests, which is among the highest when looking at the country’s population.
