The Ministry of Health announces 85 new COVID-19 recoveries and has registered 52 new active cases, of which 39 are among expatriate workers, 1 is a Bahraini national, and 12 are contacts of active cases.
Bahrain tested a total of 126,905 until now. There are 1458 active cases. These include 1,457 stable cases and 1 critical case. 1,455 people have been discharged. Only 8 deaths have been reported until now. This takes the total cases in Bahrain to 2,921.
Bahrain has also announced the recovery of a critical patient.

Bahrain has announced the death of a 36-year-old expatriate male on 23rd April, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.
The deceased male had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
