Bahrain Coast Guard Commander announced the rescue of six individuals when their boat was about to sink because of a water leak in the marine area near the Dry Dock.
He said that the security checkpoint had received a help request from the boat and the coast guard patrol rescued them and towed the boat.
He urged seafarers to follow the rules, operate Automatic Identification Device while sailing, ensure to have security and safety tools onboard and call for help through 17700000 or the hotline 994.
